MELISSA LEAVING CLINICAL DUTIES AT FLOW

This is literally the hardest post I've ever had to write.

August 30th was my last day in the clinic at Flow Acupuncture.

I have been offered an incredible opportunity at the Wellness Center at Huntsman Cancer Institute, and due to this new position, I will no longer be able to treat patients at Flow.

Flow has been my main focus, my source of pride and joy, and pretty much my entire world since moving to SLC in 2015. I dreamed of the clinic Flow would one day become and the wonderful and loyal patients I have at Flow have been MORE THAN FAMILY to me over the past 6 years. To think I won't be seeing all of my amazing patients on a regular basis absolutely shatters my heart, but this new opportunity will allow me to participate in acupuncture research (my lifelong dream!) and work to expand acupuncture as a respected profession within an integrative medical setting.

This decision was one of the hardest I have ever had to make, but I truly feel in my heart that it is the right path for me at this time.

I have assembled a DREAM TEAM at Flow - and feel MORE THAN CONFIDENT that all the patients and supporters of Flow Acupuncture will be in GREAT HANDS and have EXCEPTIONAL CARE at Flow Acupuncture despite my absence. I am so grateful for Mallory, Paige, and Alessandra and all their hard work and commitment to Flow in continuing to make it the BEST ACUPUNCTURE CLINIC in Utah!

Thanks to everyone for their understanding as I take this next giant leap of faith as I follow my dreams onward and upward!

I will miss seeing you all on a regular basis SO MUCH and all the joy and connection each of you brought into my life is going to leave a big hole in my heart.

All my love and sincerest gratitude

-Melissa
