DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Your first appointment will last 60-75 minutes.

  • During your first appointment we will discuss your current state of health in great detail. The average Western medical doctor (MD) only spends 7 minutes with each patient!

  • We will spend 30-60 minutes discussing your complete medical history, as well as many other details that may be impacting your health.

  • Your first session of acupuncture will be a gentle introduction to this form of therapy. If you are apprehensive at all about the process or the needles, great care will be taken to guide you smoothly and comfortably through the treatment.

  • At the end of your treatment you will be provided with your complete treatment plan - a "blueprint" for the coming weeks of what to expect, and our recommendations for herbal medicines, exercise, nutrition, and future treatments.

  • Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day.

  • Be sure to stick with your treatment plan! That means taking your herbal medicines consistently, keeping all your future acupuncture appointments, and making small lifestyle changes - these will all have a BIG impact on the improvement of your health!
