Flow Acupuncture and Apothecary is seeking a Licensed Acupuncturist for our busy Salt Lake City clinic. Our office is an independent integrative medical practice that is growing. We are looking for a Licensed Acupuncturist to join our team to help fill our new and larger clinic space and increasing demands of steady clientele and new patients.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Through health history and intake with each patient

  • Performance of safe, skilled, and effective acupuncture treatments tailored to the needs of each individual patient

  • Administration of other Chinese medicine-related techniques and modalities (included, but not limited to: cupping, electrostim, guasha, moxibustion, herbal medicine recommendations, supplement recommendations, and outside physician referrals when appropriate)

  • Keeping clear and accurate records of patients interactions ( patient intake, treatment notes, and other appointment details) within EHR system (JANE)

  • Scheduling patient appointments

  • Accepting patient payment

  • Taking ownership and responsibility for organization of your personal schedule

  • Maintaining HIPAA compliance

  • Maintaining clean, sanitary, safe, and professional office environment

  • Regular laundry of clinic linens

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and active listening skills

  • Ability to prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Must be organized

  • NCCAOM Certification

  • MAOM, MAcOM, MSOM, or higher/equivalent degree

  • Utah state licensure (or ability to obtain a UT Acu license in a timely manner.)

  • A willingness to work one weekend day per week

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Maintains strictest professionalism and confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.

  • Must be well organized and detail-oriented.

  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written

  • Ability to accurately document in an EPM / EHR system

  • Experience with JANE (EHR system) a plus

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced specialty clinic

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Facial and Cosmetic acupuncture training and experience a plus (or a desire to obtain this training)
