Vanessa Mock, MAOM, L.Ac., is a Nationally Board-Certified Diplomate and Herbalist with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine. Vanessa is a graduate from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine located in Houston, Texas. Prior to relocating to Salt Lake City and joining the Flow Acupuncture team, Vanessa owned and operated Heights Acupuncture & Wellness Clinic in Houston, Texas.
Vanessa has been teaching Hatha yoga since 2007 and has extensively studied with master teachers in the field of whom have generously shared their knowledge with over 500 hours of training. She is currently pursuing teacher training in Qi Gong under the guidance of Lee Holden. Prior to teaching yoga, Vanessa worked in the health industry for over 15 years as a NSCA certified personal trainer and fitness instructor.
Vanessa has personally experienced, witnessed, and helped others heal with Chinese Medicine. She is ecstatic to be working at Flow Acupuncture to aid in healing a person’s conditions and focusing on treating the root cause rather than the branch. She specializes in orthopedic and ophthalmic acupuncture, but treats a variety of conditions in general practice.
In her free time, you can find her outdoors enjoying beautiful Utah with her two dogs and husband, Eugene.
